Everyone wants success. We all dream of achieving great things, living a life of pride, and becoming someone who inspires others. But the harsh reality is, very few people are willing to put in the hard work required to achieve those dreams.
In today's society, there is a dangerous trend of blaming everything on luck or fate. People dream big, and when they fail to reach those dreams, they say, "It was not written in my destiny," or "I was unlucky." Instead of owning their failure and trying again with more strength, they choose the easy route - making excuses. This attitude is not just limited to one person; it gets passed on to the next generation. Children grow up thinking that success depends on being lucky, not being hardworking. This mindset is a slow poison that kills dedication, motivation, and ultimately, the future.
From my perspective, success is not a miracle, it is a reward. A reward for those who stay honest, consistent, and dedicated to their goals - especially in their education. As a student myself, I strongly believe that no matter how tough the subject is or how many failures we face, success is always achievable through hard work, smart planning, and most importantly, faith in oneself.
We often forget that every dark night is followed by a bright morning. Similarly, every failure carries the seed of future success - if we choose to learn from it. Most people are defeated not by failure, but by their attitude toward it. They give up too soon. Instead of facing failure boldly, they allow it to control their future. But remember, failure is not the end. It's a signal to try again, smarter and stronger.
In today's world, very few people will encourage you. Only a handful will say, "Yes, you can achieve it - just don't stop trying." The majority will try to pull you down. They'll say, "This isn't for you," or "Change your dream, it's too difficult." This kind of discouragement is one of the biggest reasons why many young people fall into self-doubt and even depression. The pressure, the negativity, and the lack of genuine support can break even the most passionate dreamers.
But we must rise above it.
There is a famous saying in Islam: "Seek knowledge even if you have to go to China." This quote reflects the value of knowledge, and how far one must be willing to go to achieve it. No matter how far the goal is, or how many hurdles lie in the way - if we are determined, consistent, and sincere, nothing is impossible.
Take the example of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Born in a humble family in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, he faced many struggles. But his hunger for learning, honesty in effort, and dream of serving the nation made him one of India's most respected scientists and the "Missile Man of India." He didn't wait for luck; he worked for success.
We humans are the most prestigious creation on Earth, gifted with the ability to dream, think, and act. We can achieve the impossible. We can fly in the sky, dive into the depths of oceans, and even walk on the moon. What makes this possible? Our untapped potential.
As Charles M. Schulz once said, "Life is like a ten-speed bicycle. Most of us have gears we never use." This quote reminds us that within each of us lies hidden strength, capabilities we may not even be aware of. The question is - are we ready to find and use them?
Let us not waste these divine abilities. Let's break free from the chains of doubt, excuses, and negativity. Let's become an example, a source of light for others. Let us be the person who motivates, uplifts, and changes the environment around us.
Because in the end, as Mahatma Gandhi said, "Be the change you wish to see in the world."So to every dreamer reading this: Don't wait for miracles. Become one.
Replace excuses with effort. Replace fear with faith. And remember - success is not about luck; it's about showing up every day, ready to do the work.
