Under Swachhata Pakhwada, and on the occasion of "Ek Tareek Ek Ghanta Ek Saath", Information Department Kulgam organized a cleanliness drive at Aharbal Tourist spot in which Media persons from different media houses, employees from the information and forest department participated enthusiastically
During this drive the participants picked up the litter on the trail of Aharbal- Kounsernag and disposed off properly.
The drive was also carried to disseminate a message to keep the tourist spots clean and litter free.

Displaying spirit towards cleanliness, lacs of people from all walks of life Sunday came together in district Bandipora to participate in the "Ek Tareekh Ek Gahanta Ek Saath" event, organized as part of the Swachhta Hi Sewa Campaign.
'Ek Tareekh Ek Gahanta Ek Saath', a special event was designed to rally people for a collective effort in cleaning their surroundings to promote cleanliness ahead of Ghandhi Jayanti Celebrations under Swachtwa Campaign. People numbering in the lakhs, from school children to senior citizens, took part in the campaign.
ADDC Bandipora Ali Afsar Khan presided over the cleanliness drive at MC Hajin wherein Chairman MC Hajin Irshad Ahmad Wani beisides thousands of people participated in the event. Nodal Officer Coordination/ACD Bandipora Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, accompanied by ARTO/DIO Bandipora Bilal Ahmad Mir, AD Food Bilal Ahmad and others presided over the cleanliness event at MC Sumbal.

Under the Swachhta Pakhwada campaign and as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the eve of his birth anniversary on 2nd October 2023, District Legal Services Authority, Shopian today organised a cleanliness drive at District Court Complex Shopian.

Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) took a determined step towards cleanliness today by organizing an extensive cleanliness drive as part of Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2023 initiative.
The drive was carried out across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir as a heartfelt tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the eve of his birth anniversary on October 2, 2023.
Dir JKEDI, faculty members, and officials of the Institute actively participated in various swachhata activities on the ground, exemplifying their commitment to the principles of cleanliness and sanitation as advocated by the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
The participants across all offices also took a Swachh Pledge to make this initiative a success and a part of daily lives.
The comprehensive cleanliness campaign spanned across the offices of JKEDI located in the UT of J&K. The drive was carried out at both the regional offices of JKEDI, located in Jammu and Srinagar, Centre for Women Entrepreneurship, situated in Jammu and Srinagar and across all 20 district offices of the Institute.
Budgam
As part of the Nationwide Campaign “Swachhta Hi Seva”, District Legal Services Authority, Budgam under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority organized a series of impactful activities highlighting the Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals of cleanliness and sustainability.
The initiatives were undertaken to honour the 154th birth anniversary of Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, aiming at addressing littering, waste management, and overall hygiene by engaging individuals and institutions.
Under the leadership of Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Additional District & Sessions Judge, Budgam, Judicial officers Jahangir Ahmad Bakshi, Farah Bashir, staff members of District Court Budgam, DLSA Budgam along with dedicated PLV’s, members of LADC, Penal Lawyers and officials of Municipal Council Budgam joined hands for providing impetus to the nationwide campaign under the theme of (Garbage Free India).
The events started with a remarkable cleanliness drive spearheaded by Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Additional District & Sessions Judge Budgam along with Judicial Officers, Staff Members of District Court Complex Budgam & DLSA Budgam, members of LADC, PLV’s and Officials of Municipal Council Budgam.
The participants actively engaged in cleaning and beautifying the ADR Centre and its surroundings including “Play Way area of Children”, premises of ADR Centre and the premises of Court Complex Budgam. The cleanliness drive emphasized the importance of collective responsibility towards maintaining the clean and hygienic surroundings.
Another remarkable initiative was undertaken by DLSA Budgam, wherein an awareness programme cum cleanliness drive was organized in collaboration with Oxford School.
The event brought together staff members, teachers, dedicated PLV’s and students, who worked tirelessly to clean and regenerate their surroundings.
The event provided an opportunity to instill the values of cleanliness and collective responsibility among the younger generations.
