In a significant step towards fostering social harmony and inclusive development in Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Shri 1008 Swami Krishnanand Ji Maharaj Mahamandaleshwar (Dr. Krishna Bhardwaj) met with senior social worker and Editor of Brighter Kashmir, Mr. Farooq Wani, in Srinagar today. The meeting focused on critical issues concerning the region, with special emphasis on collaborative efforts to uplift sectors like education, healthcare, and employment.
Swami Ji, who is currently on a 15-day tour of Jammu and Kashmir, also met with flood-affected families and appealed to his followers and social organizations to extend all possible help to those in distress. He emphasized the importance of collective action in times of natural calamity, urging communities to stand together in support and solidarity.
During the meeting, consensus was reached on launching community-driven initiatives aimed at addressing long-standing challenges in Jammu and Kashmir. Discussions also revolved around strengthening peace, unity, and national integration in the region.
The gathering witnessed the participation of several eminent social activists, journalists, and intellectuals, including Mohiuddin Sheikh, Fida Firdaus, Iqrar Nazir, Majid Sheikh, Shaukat Hussain, Surinder Ambardar, and Anand Jindal, among others.
