Taliban –Weapon of Pakistan

I believe that the leader mistakenly regurgitated the confidential strategy of your Government

September 03, 2021 | Mir Mohsin

It is said that ‘sach saamne aa hi jaata hai’. I am talking about the unabashed admission by one of your party leaders on a TV show that Taliban will help Pakistan ‘win Kashmir’. When the startled anchor tried to caution the leader, she stuck to her statement. I believe that the leader mistakenly regurgitated the confidential strategy of your Government. Apparently, she unknowingly revealed what was being discussed in the closed doors official meetings. Since, it was a statement given openly on media, the traditional Pakistani deniability tactics won’t work here. Your ulterior, despicable and deceitful grand plan is out. Not that the world does not know that Taliban was created, nurtured, trained and supported by Pakistan….not that the celebrations in Pakistan of Taliban’s march into Kabul are hidden from the world…..the disquieting thing is that your leaders have started to brazenly air the reprehensible intentions of the land of the pure….Pakistan.

Talking about celebrations….. when the genocide of Bangali people in East Pakistan was officially unleashed by your Government, there was euphoria in West Pakistan. It came to an abrupt end with humiliating surrender of your ninety thousand armed soldiers and your ‘namesake’….. General Niazi. A new nation got carved out of Jinnah’s ‘moth-eaten’ and faulty dreamland. When the Russians left Afghanistan, there was jollity in Pakistan alas short lived, because from here on, Pakistan became the epicenter of the terrorism. When your forces illegally sneaked into Indian territory in Kargil, there was exultation in Pakistan….again, short lived as the determined Indian Military pushed them back…..and the architect of that sinister plan is now in recluse in London…scared to come back to Pakistan lest he faces gallows like Mr Bhutto. When CPEC investments started coming in, your cash starved pauper government was gleeful. But then large parts of it were siphoned off by your corrupt military and civil officers like General Papa Jones. Resultantly, China squeezed the cash flow and now you are despondent. So, you may have to change your habit of celebrating things too early and I will give you more reasons. A few days back, something unimaginable happened after the dastardly attack at Kabul airport. The Taliban condemned the incident. Sir…bas yehi sun lena baaki tha…” Out of all….Taliban condemning violence?? So it appears that things are not going to be easy for Taliban also. To start with, the resistance front in Panjshir Valley will be a thorn in Taliban’s flesh. Also, though people are fleeing Afghanistan but those who are staying back seem to be resolute to face what will come their way….and even resist brutality in true Afghan spirit. Hence, for Taliban, marching into Kabul without resistance is one thing while running a Government is entirely different. The Maoist Insurgency in Nepal is an example wherein, the guerilla movement was much easier to run for Prachanda than running the Government and playing musical chairs of power in Kathmandu. And yes, we have not yet spoken about the likely power struggle between Taliban’s hard and soft elements. If all this manifests into a civil war, it is bound to spill over into the Pashtun areas on your Western borders to start with. And in the heartland, the emboldened TTP will create more problems. Reportedly, thousands of TTP prisoners have already been released by Taliban. One of the commanders of TTP - Faqir Mohd has threatened to ‘act’ against Pakistan. TTP’s Chief Noorwali has also called for an independent state comprising Pakistan’s tribal areas. He has also exposed the crimes that Pakistani Army has committed in ‘Azad Balochistan’, ‘Azad Pashtunistan’ and ‘Sindhu Desh’. In addition, stand of TTP and Balochistan Freedom fighters against CPEC is well known and is another area of profound concern.
I must tell you another interesting analysis of US law makers. A whooping 85 billion dollar worth US equipment is in the hands of the Taliban. This includes 75,000 US vehicles, over 200 airplanes and helicopters and over 6,00,000 small arms & light weapons. Taliban now has more black hawk helicopters than 85 percent of the countries in the world. US administration chose a date of withdrawal and could have deinducted the equipment in a planned manner along with its troops but did not. Why could not they at least fly their expensive helicopters out of Afghanistan is a mystery and even one of your weed smoking foreign office secretary with a blocked nose would smell a rat here.
As far as Kashmir is concerned, the infiltration by terrorists from Pakistan has been handled well by security forces since last three decades. All those who infiltrate eventually die. If Taliban terrorists infiltrate, they will face the same fate. But sir, Kashmir is far from Afghanistan…..Pakistan is just next door…..so logically, you should be more worried. We are ready…… are you sir?
Finally, as always your Excellency……aapne ghabrana nahin hai.
