Teenage boy drowns in Dal Lake

A teenage boy drowned to death in Dal Lake located in summer capital Srinagar.
A senior police official said that that a teenage boy identified as Wahid Fayaz, a resident of Bemina, drowned in Dal Lake while he was having a bath.
They said his body was retrieved by locals along with the help of River Police Srinagar from Dal Lake near Ghat no. 16. The body will be handed over to family after medico-legal formalities, they said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
