The Message in the Last Sermon of Prophet (PBUH)

February 05, 2024 | Aeyaz Bhat

May the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and all the prophets who came before Him be blessed with peace and blessings. The prophet began his sermon by saying, "People, pay close attention to what I have to say. I do not know whether I will be among you after this year. Therefore, carefully pass this message to those who are not here now or will be among you later." When an individual dedicates their heart and goes above and above to expound on the sermon's content, they ultimately develop a deep love for Islam and the Prophet. I find that I have to commemorate the prophet's birthday every year, rather than just occasionally. Clearly, the most effective method to do this is to simply repeat the sermon and the message contained. I would like to say something to individuals who write about politics and history: read the sermon; you will discover that it challenges history, and you will undoubtedly respect it as one of the first human rights pronouncements in history. In addition to changing society, the Islamic prophet imparted values of justice, equality and brotherhood. He eliminated socioeconomic inequalities, racial superiority and elevated the status of women. Over a 23-year period, the revered prophet brought the Arabian Peninsula together, put an end to the unending violence and restored women's dignity. Only during the prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) lifetime could former slaves rise to the positions of governor and general. Prophet Mohammad (SAW) is the most successful religious figure of all time. The key components were the daily prayers—a practice that the younger generation has abandoned—fasting during Ramadan, giving alms and if you could afford it, performing the Hajj. All people descended from Adam and Eve; a white person is not superior to a black person, nor is an Arab person superior to a non-Arab. Discover that all Muslims are brothers to all Muslims and that there is only one brotherhood among all Muslims. Keep in mind that you will stand before the Almighty at some point and be held accountable for your actions. So, be careful, and once I'm gone, stay on the straight and right path of righteousness. No prophet or messenger will come after me, O people, and no new faith will emerge. Let me now show you to the other side of it. Just before the prophet Muhammad bid the world farewell, he whispered the same words in the son-in-law of the prophet, Hazarat Ali: "DO protect your five times prayers, help the fallen and do justice with your women." The message came to Jibriel Aleh Salam from Allah SWT, then to the prophet and ultimately to the Ummah of Prohet. It is evident to pass the message not only to the Muslim Ummah but to the entire mankind since our Prophet was REHMATALLIL ALAMEEN, according to late Islamic scholar Dr. Israr Ahmad's summary of the lecture. The prophet concluded the discourse by saying that believers will always be great and prosperous if they followed the teachings of Allah's sacred book, the Quran, which He is now leaving to them. I'm ending this essay with the hope that you all will assist me in getting it in front of other sects as well as the Muslim community in the society. It's your turn to tag the readers. May Allah SWT lead the way for me and the readers.
