Trust delegation meets Swami Amrit Das Ji to promote Sanskrit in J&K

A delegation from Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, Raipur (Thather), Jammu & Kashmir, paid a courtesy visit to Swami Amrit Das Ji Maharaj, the esteemed Secretary of Shri Chander Chinar Bada Akhara Udasin Trust, at Shri Chander Chinar Udasin Ashram, Kothi Bagh, Residency Road, Lal Chowk, Srinagar. The meeting was aimed at promoting and preserving the divine language, Sanskrit.
On this occasion, the Trust’s President, Jyotishacharya Mahant Rohit Shastri Ji, presented detailed information about the various activities the Trust has been carrying out for many years for the preservation of Sanskrit, promotion of the Vedas, and advancement of Sanatan culture. He urged Swami Amrit Das Ji to take necessary initiatives to establish Sanskrit Gurukuls in Jammu & Kashmir, so that the future generations can be connected to Vedic values and spiritual traditions, leading to widespread cultural awakening in society.
Senior Trustee of the Trust, Shri R.K. Chhibber Ji, stated that Shri Chander Chinar Bada Akhara Udasin Trust has been making commendable contributions in the field of education. If this Akhara focuses specifically on Sanskrit education in Jammu & Kashmir, it could mark the beginning of a new cultural renaissance in the region.
Trustee Shri Nigam Gupta Ji remarked that the Akhara is not only active in spiritual pursuits but is also making remarkable contributions in healthcare and social service.
On this occasion, Swami Amrit Das Ji was respectfully presented with a Felicitation Volume published by Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, dedicated to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha Ji.
Swami Amrit Das Ji appreciated the Trust’s work and assured full support in promoting Sanskrit. He stated that Sanskrit is not just a language, but the very soul of Indian culture, and it is our utmost duty to take it to every individual.
The delegation also included the Trust’s Vice President Shri Sunil Sharma, Trustee Dr. Sanjay Sharma, and senior journalist Shri Rohit Jandiyal.
