Under the banner of the Department of Youth Services sports at Stadium Sports Chari Sharief and the Championship Participation from 10 Districts across the Kashmir Division.
It should be noted that Deputy Commissioner Budgam Dr. Bilal Mohiddin Bhat,while attending the sports stadium as the Chief Guest, inaugurated the tournament and in his speech,he urged the childrens to increase their interest in sports and said, that efforts will be made to further strengthen the sports infrastructure in the district.He also inaugurated the matches while interacting with several players on the occasion.He was accompanied by District Sports Officer Ghulam Hassan Lone,who gave information about the competitions being organized by the department.
Selectors nominated by the department were present throughout the day to identity outstanding talent. The best performers from this championship will earn the opportunity to represent kashmir division in the upcoming inter divisional event.Thus the department of YSS Budgam reaffirmed its commitment to promoting Boys & Girls participation in sports.
