As a mark of honour and part of commemorating the sacrifices of police martyrs, Grand finale of volleyball tournament ‘Martyrs Police Premier League’ was played at DPL Ganderbal.
The grand finale of Volleyball tournament was played between BHSS Khurhama & BHSS Ganderbal which was won by BHSS Khurhama by 3:2. Both the teams showed good sportsmanship & played with enthusiasm and zeal. The event was Chaired by SSP Ganderbal Shri Wasim Qadri-JKPS, accompanied DySP DAR DPL Ganderbal Shri Nazir Ahmad. Moreover, other senior officers were also present on the said occasion.
Police appreciated all the participants who took part in different cultural, sports and educational events which were organised under the banner of Police Flag Day Week-2024. It is pertinent to mention here that various sports & cultural events were held by J&K police in order to foster the spirit of unity and integrity of the nation among the participants and also provided the opportunity & platform to the students & youth of the district to explore their talents and art.
At the conclusion of the event, both winner and runner-up teams were awarded with cash prizes, trophies & appreciation certificates.
