Srinagar, April 24: Police in Srinagar have intensified their crackdown on drug trafficking, deploying the narcotic dog squad across multiple locations in the district to strengthen enforcement and surveillance.
Under an intensified drive as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the move is aimed at curbing the menace of narcotics and dismantling drug networks operating in the city.
Police said during this special drive, trained sniffer dogs have been strategically positioned at key checkpoints to detect concealed narcotics and assist in the swift identification and apprehension of drug peddlers.
