Srinagar, Oct 5: Residents of Bishambar Nagar in Srinagar have been facing an acute shortage of drinking water for the past week, causing considerable inconvenience to households and prompting them to seek immediate intervention from the concerned authorities.

Locals said the prolonged disruption has made it difficult for families to meet their daily water needs, forcing them to make alternative arrangements for drinking water.
They appealed to the Jal Shakti Department and the concerned authorities to address the issue on priority and restore regular water supply to the area without further delay.
Locals also urged the authorities to ascertain the reason behind the disruption and take necessary measures to prevent such shortages from recurring.
