Different religions have different perception regarding Education and education system and everyone is talking about the honour of education. Earlier it was said that “The purpose of acquiring knowledge is even if it has to be taken away (China) means Alim Hasil Karna ka Leya agar China by Jana pada, it indicates the importance of education. In Muslim religion when the revelation of Quran revealed and starts with Iqra means (Padhoo). It encourages the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom asserting that learning is a life long journey. The first revelation to our prophet begins with the command to read: “Read in the name of your Lord who created. Created man from a clinging substance. Read, and your Lord is the most Generous -Who taught by the pen – Taught man that which he knew not.” (Quran 96:1-5)
By seeking knowledge, individuals can better understand the world, make informed decisions, and contribute positively to their communities.
Education is considered as a foundation for the personal growth, social progress, religious and cultivation of leadership qualities. However, the Individuals who have lack of competence, integrity, morality or vision are occupying the positions of honor by using different tactics like ethnicity, religion and difference of ideas in academia, governance, or other important spheres of world and the true purpose of education which was to spread knowledge, to teach integrity, morality etc. is undermined. Such “worthless” figures, whose rise often favouring the nepotism, favoritism, or corruption than to merit, not only vanishes the prestige of their positions but are also damaging future generations. They distort the values of hard work, learning, and ethical conduct. In the context of education, their presence can erode academic standards, discourage talented individuals, and perpetuate a culture where recognition is detached from genuine contribution. So, it is crucial, as the quality of leadership within educational institutions directly shapes the intellectual and moral fabric of society. One can just imagine the importance of education as it is revealed in every region of the society.
Different aspects that lead to honour of unworthy people to honorable positions which results from systematic flaws, human biasness and opportunistic behaviour. Some of the top most are here for discussion.
Positions are often given based on personal relationships, religious background, like mindedness or loyalty rather than merit to those who are of no use and are awarded with the things which they never deserve that will lead to the collapse of the system. Through bribery or dishonest practices, unworthy individuals may secure influence from different likeminded people and are providing a platform of for his dishonesty and Corruption. Even some where it is considered as nothing or the first time, he or she is given to go ahead with such practice again and again and corrupt the system social and morally into rubbles. When institutions lack transparency, fairness, and accountability, they become vulnerable to exploitation. In such weak systems, positions of authority and honor are often acquired not through merit but through favoritism. Ethical background. As a result, undeserving individuals rise to prominence, while deserving ones are sidelined. Over time, these unworthy leaders degrade the values, efficiency, and credibility of the system. This not only erodes public trust but also perpetuates cycles of mediocrity and injustice, weakening the institution from within.
In societies where true merit and competence are not recognized or rewarded, favoritism, nepotism, and corruption take precedence. This allows unworthy or less capable individuals to rise to positions of power and influence, while genuine talent and hard work are sidelined.
When worthless or incompetent people occupy positions of honour, it poses a serious threat to the stability and progress of a civilized nation. Such individuals often lack vision, integrity, and commitment to the public good, leading to corruption, misuse of power, and the decline of moral and ethical standards. Their presence discourages hardworking and deserving citizens, erodes trust in institutions, and weakens the foundation of democracy and justice. To prevent from it to happen, it is essential to promote merit-based leadership, ensure transparency in appointments, and encourage accountability at all levels of governance. Only by entrusting positions of honour to capable and principled individuals can a nation safeguard its values, uphold justice, and secure a prosperous future.
