In Holy Quran ALLAH emphasizes the responsibility of leaders a steward (khalifaf) on earth and their accountability to those they lead. Leaders are expected to guide their followers towards good deeds and honesty. The prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is regarded as model of leadership. The prophet Muhammad (PBUH)stated that best leaders are those, who are loved and prayed by the people they lead and govern. Incompetent leaders are also historically blind, they lack awareness of the event that unfolded in the past. The absence of strong leadership in an organization or nation can have a bad and negative impact not only in present but also for future generations. The lack of vision and direction to low morale, ineffective decision making and missed opportunities, organizations and nations suffer without capable leaders at helm. On the other hand a good leadership is characterized by vision, communication and moral .Integrity plays a crucial role in shaping a nations history, by examining historical examples the valuable qualities of a good leadership includes the, importance of vision, integrity, empathy and honesty to inspire and motivate. So it is important and responsibility of every citizen, member and individual to choose a visionary , competent, capable , responsible and honest leadership. This involves evaluating candidates based on various factors, including their skills, experience, potential, values and ability, collaboration and innovation. In Islam choosing a leader is to prioritize the implementation of Allah s laws and the betterment of society. The leader should be a trustworthy, and possess qualities like courage and ability. The responsibility of every human is to participate in the process of choosing. Whether it is at family level village level or in union. I realized that main reason behind this incompetent and bad leadership is silence and non-participating of competent and capable persons. It is said that nation will not be destroyed by those who do evil but by those who are watching this destruction silently . So if you want to eradicate evils from society, then it is important for you to understand and participate in the processes and to understand problems and think for solutions.
