Why Did People Choose Modi 3.0 ?

PM Modi emphasized the significance of 2024 as a celebration of democracy, highlighting its immediate importance alongside the milestone of 2047

June 12, 2024 | Syed Furkan

Leaving party politics and politics aside, one must say that in the past decade, every promise has become a reality, and this trend is set to continue in the next five years. The coming years will also reinforce the spirit of Seva (service), Sushashan (good governance), and Garib Kalyan (welfare of the poor). From farmers to women to our youth, the manifesto reflects the motto of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas (inclusive development).

The manifesto promises to continue providing free rations, LPG connections, tap water connections, and zero electricity bills through the PM Surya Ghar Yojana. Health facilities under the Ayushman Yojana for senior citizens will be extended, and housing for the middle class will be addressed. The manifesto covers benefits for all, from youth to senior citizens, across all sectors.
It promises five more years of educational excellence in India, including more higher education institutions and the implementation of the NEP (National Education Policy). Millions of youth are already employed, and this trend will continue with stricter laws to prevent exam paper leaks. The manifesto aims to increase employment through infrastructure development, manufacturing, tourism, startups, services, and sports.
The Modi Guarantee includes a promise to empower women by creating 3 crore more Lakhpati Didis (women earning over a lakh annually). A special campaign will be launched to eradicate cervical and breast cancer. Development will continue in every corner of India, including Northeast India.
The manifesto places social, physical, and digital infrastructure at its core to realize the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India). It guarantees a secure India and good governance and includes the promotion of more initiatives that align with Vikas Bhi Virasat Bhi (Development with Heritage).
Besides these, there are other significant developments planned. The Bullet Train Corridor Expansion aims to extend to North East and South India, improving connectivity and providing an economic boost to these regions. Emphasizing Aatmanirbharta (self-reliance) in green fuels, efforts are focused on establishing a global green energy hub for a sustainable future. The aviation sector is slated for an upgrade to enhance connectivity and create job opportunities, fostering economic development. The expansion of Vande Bharat includes three new models of the express train—sleeper, chair car, and metro—set to bolster connectivity and accessibility. Initiatives like the uniform civil code and one nation, one election, along with ongoing anti-corruption measures, aim to ensure fair and transparent governance. Inclusive healthcare initiatives will integrate the transgender community into Ayushman Bharat and provide free healthcare to every senior citizen above 70 years old, regardless of financial status.
PM Modi emphasized the significance of 2024 as a celebration of democracy, highlighting its immediate importance alongside the milestone of 2047. He asserted that his decade-long performance is superior to the five to six decades of Congress rule in every parameter. Describing the current phase as "just a trailer," he conveyed his commitment to fulfilling aspirations without creating fear or suppression. PM Modi's three-part future plan includes the BJP manifesto, a 25-year vision, and immediate actions within the first 100 days of office.
Modi Ki Guarantee symbolizes a deep commitment akin to "pran jay par vachan na jaye." The resolution of the Ram Mandir issue, according to Modi, has de-weaponized vote bank politics, and the BJP's growth in South India, particularly Tamil Nadu, appears promising. He rejected the notion of a North-South divide, advocating for regional cooperation and competitive federalism.
Emphasizing informal diplomacy, Modi stated, "When global good is in mind, there are no personal ifs and buts." He highlighted the role of electoral bonds in ensuring transparency in political funding and reiterated his personal commitment to anti-corruption, noting the independence of the ED, CBI, and IT Department. He expressed gratitude to honest taxpayers, highlighted increased tax collection, and hoped for the implementation of "One nation, One election." Addressing the middle class, Modi noted that since 2014, India has outperformed global peers in stock exchange returns, benefiting middle-class investors through what he terms the "Modi Premium." This includes higher premiums paid by global investors for Indian shares, low stock market volatility, and a stable currency, all contributing to increased prosperity for the middle class. In summary, Modi's policies and reforms have significantly benefited the middle class through enhanced stock market performance and returns, demonstrating his impact on India's economic landscape.
