Kibithu, Mar 23: The Dao Division under SpearCorps proudly flagged off the All Women Kutch to Kibithu Car Expedition–2026 at Kibithu, marking the successful culmination of a remarkable journey by 35 women drivers from the Embarq Foundation.

Covering a distance of 4,000 km in 15 days, the expedition traversed challenging terrains across multiple states, highlighting the spirit of adventure, resilience, and national integration. The drivers, all trained and certified by Embarq Foundation, demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, navigating remote areas and high-altitude routes to reach the northeastern tip of India.
The expedition carried a dual purpose: promoting women empowerment through adventure and paying tribute to the heroes of the Battle of Walong, a historic conflict in 1962. Upon arrival at the Kibithu Hut of Remembrance, the team paid homage to the fallen soldiers, offering floral tributes and observing a moment of silence in honor of their sacrifice.
The flagging-off ceremony was attended by senior Assam Rifles officers, local administration officials, and members of the community, who lauded the initiative for its emphasis on courage, leadership, and patriotic spirit.
The Dao Division emphasized that such initiatives reinforce the bond between citizens and the armed forces while inspiring youth, especially women, to take part in nation-building activities. The expedition also served as a platform to showcase India’s diverse landscapes and the logistical capabilities required to traverse remote regions safely.
The Embarq Foundation team highlighted the importance of adventure sports and expeditions in fostering confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities among participants. Their journey is expected to motivate more women to pursue unconventional avenues, blending exploration with community service and national pride.
