Yoga session organised in commemoration of Int'l Yoga Day

In celebration of the International Yoga Day, a special yoga session was organized by Srinagar Sector, CRPF at SKICC, on Saturday.
The event witnessed the presence of esteemed guests, including Ajay Kumar Yadav, IPS, IG, Srinagar Sector, Nitu Bhattacharya, DIG, R. S. Rawat, DIG, Kishor Prasad, DIG, Jaidev Kesri, DIG among other officers.
The session aimed to highlight the relevance and significance of yoga in today's fast-paced world, particularly for security force personnel, while emphasizing its benefits for civilians as well, a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) reads.
The International Yoga Day, observed annually on June 21st, was established by the United Nations to promote the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of individuals worldwide. It serves as a reminder of the importance of incorporating yoga into our lives for achieving harmony and balance.
