The beginning of the current year, although the Youth Services and Sports Department has done the same in different zones with road races and cycling, in Budgam district too, the department officials are seen feeding the childrens in the playgrounds with every passing day.Although under the department's calendar activities, sports activities are also at their peak in many zones of the district these days, in Hardu Panzo, a remote area of the district, which is located at the foot of the tourist spot Tosa Maidan and Doudh Pathri, with the efforts of the In-charge Zonal Physical Officer Sheikh Farooq Ahmad, various events were started in the zone, including road races, cycling, kabadi and volleyball, and under the same link, the Under-14 and Under-17 Kabaddi Boys event also started at the Venue Ground High School Arizal, where a large number of childrens participated in sports competitions and players showed talent with enthusiasm.
At the opening ceremony, the In-charge of the zone, Sheikh Farooq Ahmad, urged the childrens to actively participate in sports competitions and to stay away from drugs, it is the responsibility of the time and the department to organize such events.On this occasion, the leader of sports teacher Ajaz Ahmad Dar, known as Hotline, also emphasized on encouraging the children towards sports spirit.According to Ajaz Dar, identifying and nurturing sports talent at the grassroots level of the zone is part of a big mission and the selection process is being done very carefully in every event to prepare a strong squad for the upcoming provincial level competitions, so that the name of the zone Hardu Panzo can also be made famous.
