The Zone Rainawari today inaugurated its Inter-School Zonal-Level Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, and Volleyball tournaments at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Rainawari. The event was officially declared open by senior faculty members Altaf Hussain Haji and Syed Naseer Hussain Rizvi, in the presence of Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO) Muzamil Ahmad Dar.
Before the commencement of the games, a pledge against drug abuse was administered to all participants, highlighting the zone’s commitment to promoting sports and a drug-free lifestyle among youth.
The opening day witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 230 under-14 boys representing both government and private institutions. The competitions began with high energy and sportsmanship.
In the Volleyball final, BMS Jogi Lankar edged past BMS Khalifapora in a thrilling 2-1 victory. In Kho-Kho, MS Choudhary Bagh defeated GMS Zaildar Mohalla, while in Kabaddi, GMS Zaildar Mohalla turned the tables to clinch the title against MS Choudhary Bagh.
ZPEO Rainawari Muzamil Ahmad Dar expressed gratitude to the dedicated field staff of Zone Rainawari for their tireless efforts and support in organizing the successful tournament.
