The Inter School District level competition in the discipline of Volleyball, Kabaddi and Kho-Kho U-19 Boy’s was held today at Sports Stadium, here.
The Tournament was inaugurated by the District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Shopian, Gurmukh Singh Dutta.
Earlier, DYSSO interacted with the students and gave a brief description about the importance of conducting sports competitions. He also explained the benefits of playing different games.
He said that games help children to develop social skills such as communication, sharing, waiting, taking turns and enjoying the company of others.
