A two-day workshop on Handling and Operation of Noise Level Meters for Traffic Police Officers conducted by the J&K State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) concluded at Sheikh ul-Aalam campus of the Board at Rajbagh Srinagar.
During the Workshop, about 35 Traffic Police Officers were trained in the handling and use of Digital Noise Monitoring equipment by Scientists and officers of the SPCB.
The Workshop was inaugurated by Member Secretary SPCB, B M Sharma, and Regional Director SPCB Kashmir, Rafi Ahmad Bhat. At the valedictory function, certificates of participation were presented to the participant officers.
