what After Graduation

''There is always civil service option for students, who for they can opt''

Choosing a good and healthy carrier is always a tangible thing for students to deal with. The question remains always hard than any other in the young minds during the course of Graduation and always makes students to think in an insensitive mode, in a sentimental way. As a result students are loosing their track of good mark on their stance that makes a psychological shift in them. A student can opt for various degrees and diplomas after graduation but most of them have a common goal in mind that is Civil Services and Civil Administration.
Civil services is meant for not only the good but for the best carrier of the students and is always the shortcut option for an excellent and perfect carrier. Civil services is not only IAS or State Administrative exams as lot of students think, but a variety of options and opportunities like Indian revenue service, Indian railways, information service, central forestry exams, police and Defence services and a lot meant for good students. Most of our secondary school students do not even know what civil services is all about, neither half of them are aware about their streams and subjects what and why they have chosen? It is always the duty of Teachers and councilors to guide students according to their will and ensure good for them on the first step of their glorious journey that is 11th Class. it is their duty to make them. Frankly saying, it is not a hard compulsion for students to go only for Civil Service Examination to build carrier but students can go for variety of streams like MBBS, Btech and many other well fields to which they find best.
There is also and always civil services for the candidates, who for they can opt. Lucky are the students
Who are well aware about civil services, who want to make their carrier in it, their is a great opportunity for those who have cleared their optionals right from class 11th(1 optional subject in IAS and 2 in KAS).it needs a deep and vast knowledge of the optional subjects for exams. Count yourself for the same right from ist step of ladder i.e 11th class if you are heading towards graduation with mentioned subjects or some other from other streams and think there is going to be a five year knowledge in your mind about a particular subject
It should be like a training session or a five year course structure and measure it like a stepway course. One after one.
We can have any two subjects as optional among the following subjects like sociology, political science, anthropology, public administration, geology, law, history, different engineering subjects, economy, botany, agriculture, statics, commerce, medicine and many other subjects. Our schools must choose much of the subjects from above list so that students can get a lot of information about them right from early classes as unfortunately we have only a few of them.
Before you start your journey, I would like to explain in brief the structure and standard of a Civil service exam.
Firstly it is a two tier exam process.
One tier for preliminary and second tier for Mains examination and interview and is organised in three stages.

Stage 1st,Prelimnary test

It is only a qualifying and screening test examination and is generally objective type in nature.

Stage 2nd

Mains type test plus optional (1 for IAS and 2 for KAS).
The students qualified in stage 1st can sit in main examination, this is crux of civil services examination.it contains both objective as well as subjective questions, the subjective questions are generally asked about social, political and economy related questions.

Stage 3rd, Interview or personality test

It is the most important stage in order to get recruited. It is personality test, Candidates who qualify are set to face a board of Judges from UPSC who judge a candidate on several factors of national and international importance.
Remember, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail, your plan should be based on a clear understanding of what is required of you for it. The mains examination is a checkup to assess the overall intellectual traits and depth of understanding of the candidate rather than merely the range of information and memory unlike preliminary where just one or two revisions can work. Mains should be prepared well with a full need of concentration. In Mains type you not only have to comprehend but also to write whatever is asked of you so one should gou with full frame concepts rather than craming facts.
Remember a good base in general studies is important for clearing this highest level of examination with a better rank and rate. Also Current affairs of national as well as international importance should be like the daily tasks that are also very much necessary.
Put your efforsand with a green signal in the exam till you succeed, don't turn back until you get qualified and you will inshallah!
I also like to thank District Development Commissioner Shopian Choudhry Yaseen Sahab and his team who have made an initiation of this kind and have started a free Civil services coaching for desirous students at GDC Shopian.
