Bharatpur/Mathura, May 23: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Northern Command, conducted a comprehensive review of operational preparedness during his visit to the military stations at Bharatpur and Mathura, reaffirming the Indian Army’s continued commitment to maintaining high standards of combat readiness, operational excellence and technological advancement in the prevailing security environment.
During the visit, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma assessed the preparedness of military formations deployed in the region and reviewed multiple operational parameters, including troop readiness, training standards, logistical capabilities and the efficiency of combat support systems. Senior officers briefed the Army Commander on ongoing operational activities, preparedness measures and the mechanisms in place to maintain a constant state of readiness in accordance with evolving security requirements.
Interacting with troops and commanders, the Army Commander appreciated the professionalism, dedication and resilience displayed by officers and soldiers in performing their duties under challenging conditions.
