Actor Shivam Roy Prabhakar is shooting for the film The Third Hacker, recently gave the hit Chaal Gazab Hai with Jannat Zubair Rahmani
Starting from a very small role in Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Shivam Roy Prabhakar did a lot of character roles in numerous movies. May 2019 released Chaal Gazab Hai gave brought him in spotlight with over 10 million hits on YouTube which was released by Zee Music Company. In Chaal Gazab Hai, he played the lead alongside actress Jannat Zubair Rahmani.
After having a taste of stardom, Shivam Roy Prabhakar didn't stop and recently started shooting for his upcoming Hindi feature film ‘The Third Hacker’. Recently caught Shivam Roy Prabhakar at the trailer launch of Keep Safe Distance, disclosed about he is shooting for the film The “Third Hacker” which would be released next year. The film will star Josephine Lang opposite to Shivam Roy Prabhakar. Josephine Lang is basically from Shri Lanka. The film is being produced by Laxman Singh Rajput. The director Sagar Joshi said that he would disclose some notable name in the film very soon. The climax of the film would be shoot in Shri Lanka while the Line Producer Vinay Aaditya Roy, indicating to the names like Dharmendra ji and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, said that he is soon going to disclose the whole cast of the film which includes some very popular actors from the Bollywood industry.
Journey in Bollywood
Shivam Roy Prabhakar, who was associated with acting through theater plays since childhood, gave proof of his actor by playing the character of Lord Laxman in Ram Leela of his city at the age of only 11.
Apart from this, he has also been awarded by the Chief Minister of the state by getting 95% marks in the 10th examination and the same time it was a little difficult to convince his family for acting. He was encouraged by the role of Laxman in Ramlila and he continued the acting further and joined a drama group in Aligarh and a theatre in Delhi from where he started learning the acting and the nuances of acting by staying in Delhi.
He moved to Mumbai after the 12th where he played minor roles in many films including Salman Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'.
After some time he met actor, producer Raju Rahikwar, who worked in many films including Super Nani, Raju Rahikwar was working on the post production of his film "Aamir Salman Shahrukh", Shivam Roy Prabhakar did the additional online help in post production and became a part of the film. The trailer of Aamir Salman Shahrukh film was promoted by actor Salman Khan himself on his official Twitter.
Shivam then screen played the film titled by "The Strong Faith" which screened at a high level.
After a few years of struggle, he got a song 'Chaal Ghazab Hai' by Zee Music Company which became quite famous. His album Song got 8 million views in just 1 month. And thus it brought him to the spotlight. After Chaal Gazab Hai, Shivam Roy Prabhakar is shooting for a movie titled by The Third Hacker. Also he worked as a lead actor in a film "Karate Kawach" whose post production is going on and the film will be released soon after getting the censor certificate.
Recalling an incident Shivam Roy Prabhakar says, “Mohammed Ali shah, a nephew of veteran film personality Naseeruddin Shah was in Aligarh to promote a movie. I also attended a play in which I was playing an important role. He saw my acting skills and suggested that I should go to Mumbai and try my luck there.”
Everything was okay but his family did not allow him to go to Mumbai until he pursued his boards. When he topped the state in his boards, his family allowed him to go to Mumbai for trying the luck in the Bollywood.
He added, “I was only 17 when I landed in Mumbai. I was all alone but Ali Bhai (Mohammed Ali shah) helped me,”
In an interview, we asked about who is his favorite actor and he replied “I love Salman khan sir. He is a very generous person and a great actor too”.
He added “I have a special connection with Nawazuddin Siddiqui sir and I love Om Puri sir as I grew up watching his movies and his acting skills are truly admirable, he truly is a legend. Nawazuddin Siddiqui sir is also from a small town of Uttar Pradesh. I always look up to him. I feel privileged that I am in contact with him, I would be the happiest person on earth if I ever get a chance to share the screen with him”
Personal Life
Shivam Roy Prabhakar is basically from Marehra Sharif, a town located 63km from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh while he was born in a village named Sujanpur which comes in district Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh . He belongs to an educated family as his father is teacher and grandfather is retired principal. He has 2 brothers, elder one is a business person while the second is an IAS aspirant and that was the reason his father wanted him to be an IPS officer.
Education
Achieving 95.4% marks in his tenth examination Shivam Roy Prabhakar secured 9th position in the state and first in the district. Due to his move to Mumbai after taking 12th examination, his education faced problems, due to which he is studying under distance education system from IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University).
