Anantnag, Aug 17: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference has appointed Anees Ul Islam as the party’s District Secretary for Anantnag with immediate effect, according to an order issued by District President Altaf Ahmad Wani on Monday.

The order states that the incumbent District Secretary, Advocate Suhail Ahmad Beig, is currently unavailable for party engagements due to personal reasons.

In view of this, Anees Ul Islam has been appointed as District Secretary, JKNC Anantnag, with immediate effect.

According to the order dated August 17, 2026, his appointment will remain in force until the next party elections.

Copies of the order have been forwarded to the General Secretary, JKNC, and the Provincial President, JKNC Kashmir, for information.
