
Tuting, July 24: The Shaurya Sambandh, a Veterans Outreach Programme, was organised by Spearhead Division under Spear Corps at Tuting, Arunachal Pradesh, to address the concerns of veterans and their families while strengthening the bond between the Indian Army and the veteran community.
The outreach initiative provided a dedicated platform for Veterans, Veer Naris and Veer Matas to seek assistance regarding pension-related matters, welfare schemes and other entitlements. Army representatives interacted with the participants, listened to their grievances and extended necessary support for resolving pending issues.
The programme also focused on creating awareness about various government and Army welfare initiatives available for ex-servicemen and their dependents. Participants were briefed about available benefits, support mechanisms and procedures to access different schemes.
Officials highlighted the Army’s continued commitment towards the well-being of its veterans, acknowledging their service and sacrifices made in the defence of the nation.
The event witnessed active participation from veteran families, who appreciated the efforts of the Army in bringing essential services and assistance closer to remote communities.
