Dinjan, Feb 26: Specialist troops of the Indian Army under Spear Corps successfully concluded Exercise Flying Raider at Dinjan, Assam, demonstrating exceptional combat skills, precision, and operational readiness.
The exercise focused on Combat Freefall (CFF) training, a high-risk airborne operation that tests the troops’ ability to deploy rapidly and accurately into challenging terrain. Personnel executed jumps from varying altitudes, navigating with precision to designated drop zones while maintaining strict safety protocols and mission discipline.
During the exercise, troops demonstrated physical endurance, tactical coordination, and aerial navigation skills, reflecting their preparedness for rapid-response operations in diverse environments. Trainers emphasized team cohesion, situational awareness, and decision-making under pressure, key attributes for modern airborne operations.
Exercise Flying Raider also involved integration of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance inputs, simulating realistic operational scenarios where rapid insertion and extraction of personnel is critical.
