Kukidolong, Oct 30 : The Assam Rifles organised an interactive programme titled ‘A Day with Company Commander’ at Government Middle School, Kukidolong, Nagaland, on October 29, 2026, with the participation of 88 students and eight teachers.

The initiative was aimed at motivating young students, promoting discipline and strengthening relations between the security forces and local communities.
During the programme, students were encouraged to develop positive values, remain committed to their education and pursue their aspirations with confidence and determination.
The interaction provided an opportunity for students to engage with the Company Commander, gain insights into the role and responsibilities of the armed forces and understand the importance of discipline, dedication, teamwork and service to the nation.
The programme also sought to inspire the younger generation by exposing them to the values and experiences associated with military life. Special emphasis was laid on nurturing confidence, responsible citizenship and a spirit of achievement among students.
The participation of teachers further strengthened the initiative's focus on educational engagement and youth development.
