
Srinagar, July 23: Building on the success of its earlier initiatives, the Assam Rifles, under the Spear Corps, has welcomed the third batch of students under the National Integrity & Educational Development Organisation (NIEDO) programme at the Sub P.B. Chhetri, Kirti Chakra Centre of Excellence in Ghaspani, Nagaland.
The new batch marks the beginning of a year-long academic programme aimed at preparing students for NEET 2027 and JEE 2027, providing them with quality coaching, mentorship and career guidance to help them compete in India's premier entrance examinations.
Officials said the initiative is designed to nurture academic excellence while instilling discipline, leadership qualities and self-confidence among young aspirants from the region.
The Centre of Excellence will offer structured classroom coaching, regular assessments, mentoring sessions and comprehensive academic support to enable students to achieve their educational goals.
The NIEDO initiative has already produced encouraging results through its first two batches, with several students securing admissions to prestigious institutions, reinforcing the programme's commitment to expanding educational opportunities in the Northeast.
