Manipur, Dec 2: Assam Rifles observed World AIDS Day on December 1, 2025, by conducting a series of awareness lectures across multiple locations in Manipur, including Boro Bekra, Kadamtala, Kaimai, and Nungba. The initiative aimed to educate local communities on HIV prevention, early detection, and the importance of reducing stigma associated with the disease.

During the sessions, experts highlighted safe practices, timely testing, and treatment options, emphasizing the need for responsible health behaviour. The lectures also encouraged community members to support affected individuals, fostering a compassionate and inclusive environment.
