Srinagar, Oct 18: The Chamber of Commerce & Industries Kashmir (CCIK) strongly condemns the alleged attack on Kashmir-based Star World Ventures by unidentified persons in Karnal, Haryana.

Taking serious note of the incident, CCIK President Mr. Tariq Ghani and all members of the Chamber have expressed deep concern over the safety and security of the business community. Star World Ventures is a valued member of CCIK, and the Chamber stands firmly in solidarity with the firm and its representatives during this difficult time.
CCIK demands a time-bound, impartial, and thorough investigation into the incident and urges the concerned authorities to identify and arrest the culprits at the earliest. The Chamber further demands that those found guilty be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law, so that justice is delivered and such incidents are not repeated in the future.
CCIK also appeals to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir and the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir to use their good offices to take up the matter with the Haryana Government and ensure that the incident is investigated seriously and appropriate action is taken against those responsible.
The Chamber emphasises that the safety, dignity, and security of businesspersons must be protected irrespective of their place of origin or the location of their business activities. Such incidents create fear and uncertainty among traders and entrepreneurs and must be addressed promptly and firmly by the authorities.
CCIK stands firmly with Star World Ventures and calls for swift justice, accountability, and effective measures to ensure the safety of the business community.
