Decomposed Body Recovered From Chenab River Near Drabshalla in Kishtwar

Kishtwar, August 10: A decomposed body was recovered from the Chenab River near the Copper Dam in the Drabshalla area of Kishtwar on Monday.

Officials said the body was noticed by local residents in the river, following which police were informed. The body was subsequently retrieved with the assistance of police personnel.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been established. Police have taken cognizance of the matter and initiated the required legal formalities.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
