Budgam, July 17: Authorities demolished four properties allegedly linked to drug peddlers in the Khansahib area of Budgam district as part of the ongoing crackdown on narcotics-related activities.
The demolition operation was conducted jointly by the District Administration and District Police in Parnewa and Arigam, in the presence of revenue and police officials.
Officials said the action involved the removal of three structures, including four shops, a cowshed and a tile factory. The properties were allegedly associated with individuals involved in drug peddling.
Authorities said the operation is part of a wider strategy aimed at dismantling assets allegedly connected with the narcotics trade and curbing the spread of drug abuse in the district.
The District Administration said coordinated action against drug peddling will continue and legal measures will be taken against properties found to have links with illicit narcotics activities.
