Srinagar, July 10: A 30 year old hotel cook was found unconscious inside the bathroom of a hotel in the Indra Nagar area of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir and was declared dead after being taken to SMHS Hospital on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Amin Malla, son of Mohammad Yousuf, a resident of Papchan village in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said the hotel owner found the employee lying unconscious in the bathroom and immediately shifted him to Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) Hospital in Srinagar. However, doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated proceedings to ascertain the exact cause of death.
