IMACC 2026 hosts campfire night celebrates unity

New Delhi, Feb 25:During IMACC 2026, the Indian Army hosted a lively Campfire Night, blending tradition, camaraderie, and friendly competition among participating military teams. The event showcased the spirit of cooperation and reinforced bonds among Indian and Friendly Foreign Military contingents.

The evening began with the ceremonial lighting of the campfire, setting a warm and festive tone. Team captains interacted with each other, sharing experiences from the ongoing exercises. A video presentation highlighted key moments and achievements from the IMACC events, creating a sense of collective pride.
Fun and competitive activities such as tug of war, quizzes, and cake-cutting ceremonies added to the excitement. A spectacular fireworks display lit up the night sky, marking the culmination of a vibrant evening.
Cultural performances brought the diversity of India to life, featuring Raas Leela from Manipur, Bamboo Dance from Mizoram, Naga Tribal Dance, and energetic Bhangra performances. Friendly Foreign Military teams also presented lively cultural acts, adding an international flavour to the celebrations.
A total of 12 teams participated, including two Indian Army teams, as well as contingents from the Indian Air Force, Indian Coast Guard, and Indo-Tibetan Border Police. International teams came from Bhutan, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, and Sri Lanka, strengthening diplomatic and military ties.
The Campfire Night served as a platform to reinforce friendship, mutual respect, and military cooperation, celebrating the spirit of unity amid diversity in a memorable and engaging manner.
