: The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Kashmir, organized a social and medical camp on the occasion of the Urs of Hazrat Syed Hasan Al-Mantaqi (RA) at Awantipora.

The camp witnessed active participation from IUST employees, volunteers, and healthcare professionals. Free medical check-ups and health consultations were provided to a large number of devotees visiting the holy shrine to pay their obeisance. Medicines were also distributed free of cost through the AYUSH Centre. The initiative aimed to promote health awareness, early diagnosis, and accessible healthcare for all sections of society.

A parallel social outreach effort ensured smooth organization and support for attendees, while refreshments were also arranged for the devotees. The initiative reflected the values of compassion, service, and collective well-being, serving as a tribute to the saint’s teachings and highlighting IUST’s continued commitment to humanitarian outreach initiatives.
