
Baramulla, July 26: Vehicular traffic on the Drung–Tangmarg road in north Kashmir's Baramulla district was suspended on Sunday after a landslide blocked the route, disrupting movement.
Officials said rocks and debris slid onto the road, making the stretch unsafe for vehicles. Traffic was immediately halted as a precaution until the affected portion is cleared.
Road maintenance teams have been deployed to remove the debris and restore connectivity at the earliest.
Meanwhile, authorities have urged commuters to avoid the affected route and follow official traffic advisories until the road is declared safe for travel.
