Tangmarg, July 26: Traffic movement on the Tangmarg–Drung road has been suspended after a landslide blocked the route, causing disruption for commuters and local residents.

Authorities have advised people to avoid travelling on the affected stretch until the debris is cleared and the road is declared safe for movement.
Teams have been deployed to assess the situation and undertake necessary restoration work. Machinery is being mobilised to remove the debris and reopen the road at the earliest.
Officials have urged commuters to remain cautious and follow traffic advisories to avoid inconvenience or any untoward incident.
The closure comes amid a period of unstable weather conditions in Jammu and Kashmir, with several areas witnessing landslides and road blockages due to heavy rainfall.
