
New Delhi, July 29: IAS officer Mamta Yadav (AGMUT:2021), who is serving as Deputy Commissioner in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), has been relieved by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi to take up her new assignment in Jammu and Kashmir.
An order issued by the Services Department, Government of NCT of Delhi, stated that Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena has approved the relieving of three AGMUT cadre IAS officers with effect from the afternoon of July 31, 2026. The move follows the Ministry of Home Affairs' transfer order issued on July 9, 2026.
Apart from Mamta Yadav, IAS officer Rishita Gupta (AGMUT:2019), also serving as Deputy Commissioner in the MCD, has been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh. Wairokpam Punshiba Singh (AGMUT:2022), another Deputy Commissioner in the MCD, has been posted to Lakshadweep.
The relieving order was issued by Jitendra Kumar Arora, Deputy Secretary, Services Department, Government of NCT of Delhi.
