
The Indi-Australian delegation on a visit to J&K, met Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today after meeting the Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha yesterday. The delegation led by the Chairman of Bharat CSR Network Sajid K Saiyed called on Dr Andrabi at Srinagar and discussed a wide range of proposals under (CSR) Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives aimed at coordinated efforts with the Board regarding special public welfare initiatives. Many very viable and potential projects regarding the Infra Development, Technological Association, Sustainable Development Projects, Educational Initiatives and rehabilitation proposals were discussed in detail with the Waqf Board Chairperson. Dr Darakhshan Andrabi thanked the delegation for their impressive proposals which will be beneficial for the public. She assured the delegation that these proposals will be discussed in the full Board Meetings and decisions will be taken keeping in view the viability of the works at the ground level. She also expressed her gratitude to the delegation Chairman and other members for appreciating the works done by the Board during the past three years. Sajid K Saiyed thanked Andrabi for her insights regarding the proposals and said that he and his team was keen to work with the Board for public welfare in the whole of Jammu & Kashmir.
