Srinagar, October 28: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for the Kashmir Chapter of the University of Jammu’s Centre for Regional Studies, Culture, Dialects and Emotional Intelligence at Rakh Arth, Bemina, in Budgam district.
The proposed centre aims to preserve the region’s languages, cultural heritage and traditional knowledge while encouraging interdisciplinary research and promoting emotional intelligence.
In a post on X, Sinha expressed confidence that the initiative would help safeguard Kashmir’s cultural and linguistic identity while creating opportunities for academic exploration across different fields.
