Srinagar, Sep 21: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday said the Autumn Session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly began in Srinagar with a focus on meaningful debate and public welfare.

In a post on X, the Chief Minister said the session would provide an opportunity for constructive deliberations and discussions on issues concerning the welfare and aspirations of the people.

He said the government remains committed to addressing public concerns through democratic debate and discussion in the Assembly.

The session is expected to take up several important issues concerning development, governance and public welfare in Jammu and Kashmir.
