Srinagar, July 4: It has come to the notice of SrinagarPolice that false and misleading information is being circulated on Social Media platforms claiming that buses carrying pilgrims for the Amarnath Yatra were attacked and caught fire near Lal Chowk, Srinagar. This claim is entirely false and no such incident has taken place. The viral video being circulated in connection with the Amarnath Yatra is unrelated and has been falsely linked to the pilgrimage. General Public is advised not to create, circulate, or share unverified or misleading content that may cause panic, disturb public order, or spread misinformation. Strict legal action shall be initiated against individuals found creating, sharing, or reposting false information in violation of applicable laws
