Police rescue passengers stranded in snow at Sinthan Top

In a commendable display of swift response and dedication, the Anantnag Police successfully rescued a group of passengers stranded at Sinthan Top following fresh snowfall.
A Xylo vehicle (JK17-7352) carrying eight passengers and a driver became stranded due to sudden snowfall in the high-altitude area. Upon receiving a distress call from one of the passengers, Police Station Larnoo immediately sprang into action.
SHO Larnoo, along with his team, promptly reached the location and managed to evacuate all individuals safely, despite challenging weather and difficult terrain.
This timely and coordinated rescue operation ensured that no casualties or injuries occurred, highlighting the Anantnag Police’s strong commitment to public safety and emergency response.
