We the JK Accounts Service members are indeed greatly saddened on the unfortunate accidental death of Director Finance Forest Ecology & Environment Department, Mr. Ranbir Singh Bali in which his spouse and only son who was the apple of his eye also passed away. On the day of 09-07-2023 in the evening the news of his death dispatched shuttering shocks throughout whole Accounts fraternity. Born in a village chandosa Baramulla District of north Kashmir Mr. Bali Saheb JKAS Officer of 1999 batch was having a good moral character. With the passing of Bali Saheb, Accounts cadre has lost one of its foremost visionary officer. Mr. Bali Saheb had a sensitive and warm approach to the people of different walks of life. He took a personal and keen interest in welfare and work of public interests.

We the members of Sub-ordinate Accounts service have the privilege and honour of being his subordinate. I can still vividly remember the time I spent with him a few months back when he visited to my workplace. On interaction with the demised officer I was stuck by his fertile imagination and modest simplicity. Bali Saheb was a man of extreme simplicity in his method of life. His death is a great sorrow for all of us. Tears fall freely over the death of Bali Saheb and his family members. May Almight grant eternal peace to their departed soul. Bali Saheb, you will always be remembered with grace and gratitude.
