Secretary Secretary Tribal Affairs, Prasanna Ramaswamy G, today chaired a virtual meeting to review the implementation of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan in District Poonch.

The meeting was attended by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Poonch, Ashok Kumar Sharma along with other senior officers and Master Trainers from various blocks through virtual mode.

During the meeting, the Secretary outlined the objectives of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, emphasizing the need to activate field officers to ensure the successful execution of the programme.

The Secretary highlighted that the initiative is aimed at the holistic development of rural and tribal areas, and encouraged the formulation of local development plans through Gram Sabhas.

The DDC assured the Secretary full cooperation and said that they are committed to mobilize the administrative machinery for effective implementation of the Abhiyan across all tribal areas of the district.
