Vice Chancellor, Prof Nazir Ahmad Ganai, joined the celebrations and extended his greetings to the university community. In his address, he noted that Holi serves as a bridge across regional and social boundaries, encouraging mutual respect among people of different backgrounds.
"In the cultural landscape of Kashmir, these celebrations strengthen brotherhood and peaceful coexistence," Prof Ganai said. He added that universities play a key role in national integration and cultural exchange beyond academic instruction, urging students to celebrate responsibly while honouring India’s composite traditions.
