The J&K Association of Rowing & Sculling successfully conducted the trials for the 6th Indoor National Rowing Championship at Pokhribal, Srinagar. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 30 water sports athletes, showcasing their exceptional skill and determination.
Following a rigorous selection process, outstanding athletes were chosen to represent the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in the prestigious 6th Indoor National Rowing Championship
This national event would be organized by the Maharashtra Rowing Association on behalf of the Rowing Federation of India and is scheduled to take place from August 10 to 14, 2023.
Dr Burhan Bazaz, the President of J&K Association of Rowing & Sculling commended the participants for their dedication and hard work, emphasising that their selection is a testament to their exceptional abilities and potential. He expressed his confidence that the chosen athletes would bring pride and laurels to Jammu and Kashmir, showcasing the region's talent on a national platform.
