Srinagar, Oct 28: Prem Bahadur, Under Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, visited the offices of Press Information Bureau (PIB), Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Akashvani and Doordarshan Kendra (DDK) to review the progress of ongoing nationwide Special Campaign 6.0 in Srinagar today.
During the visit, Bahadur interacted with officers and staff members and reviewed the initiatives undertaken under the campaign. The review covered cleanliness and upkeep of office premises, record management, disposal of e-waste, optimal utilisation of office space and measures to improve administrative efficiency.
He emphasised the importance of maintaining clean and orderly workplaces and sustaining the initiatives undertaken under the campaign as part of routine office functioning.
Bahadur took note of the plant pots maintained on the office premises, with each staff member responsible for the care of an individual pot, as part of efforts to maintain green and pleasant workplace surroundings.
During the visit, Prem was accompanied by Qazi Salman, Director, PIB Srinagar, and Sunil Koul, Assistant Director, PIB Srinagar, among other officers.
