Srinagar, Aug 25: A fire broke out at the Corporate Headquarters of J&K Police Housing Corporation in the Peerbagh area of Srinagar, damaging three rooms, officials said.
The fire broke out on the fourth floor of the building housing the corporation's headquarters.
Teams from the Fire and Emergency Services Department rushed to the spot and brought the flames under control, preventing the fire from spreading to other floors.
Three rooms on the fourth floor were damaged in the incident. No loss of life or injury has been reported.
The cause of the fire is being ascertained.
