
The District Youth Services and Sports Office Srinagar kick started a two-day Inter-Zonal District Level Youth Festival for the year 2025–26 under the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) initiative at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Zadibal.
Participants from all eight sports zones across Srinagar are taking part in the festival, with over 150 young individuals showcasing their talents across a wide range of activities, including declamation, story writing, painting, poetry writing, folk singing and dancing, and an innovative science mela.
An atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and creativity marked the beginning of the festival as participants took a pledge to contribute to a Nasha-Mukt (drug-free) India.
The event aims to nurture leadership qualities, cultural awareness, and scientific curiosity among the youth.
